Oriah Knorr is a Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with adolescents, teens, and adults. He works with anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma.

He has spent five years working with kids and adolescents navigating crises, as well as working with teens and adults navigating addiction. Oriah supports his clients by validating and normalizing their experience while giving them the skills and empowering them to take steps to grow in a way that feels safe for them.

Oriah practices with a trauma-informed lens while utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mind Body Bridging, and Mindfulness-Based practices. He uses these modalities to help his clients feel safe and present when faced with difficult emotions, to connect with their values, and to build a life worth living.

Oriah grew up in Salt Lake City and attended the University of Utah for both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work. His interest in social work grew out of his mental health journey and his desire to support people in navigating mental health challenges he saw his friends experiencing.

He is dedicated to community building in the city he grew up in. He finds the most enjoyment in life when climbing rocks outside with friends. He also enjoys cooking for others, gardening, reading, and communing at coffee shops with friends.
