Samantha Curtis
Hello! My career journey toward becoming a mental health counselor started as an undergraduate studying exercise physiology and nutrition. During this time, I also completed the qualifications to become a registered yoga teacher.
I love learning and expanding the relationship between body, mind, and soul. I feel it is important to continuously seek personal growth myself so I can help others as much as possible.
I joined the Full Circle staff first as a yoga teacher and then as a clinical intern while earning a Master’s in Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. I love the environment and holistic care I am able to offer in a setting that values all parts of an individual.
I enjoy working with the approach of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and mindfulness-based practices to help others create rich, meaningful lives. I believe everyone has their own unique perspective and I aim to explore what works best for them individually. I mostly work with teens and adults, but am happy to work with those of any age who are looking for purpose and positive change in their life.
I love living near the mountains and spending time in the great outdoors. In my free time, I love hiking, traveling, yoga, reading, and cooking. Learning and having new experiences are extremely important to me.
