The inherent simplicity of meditation is generally why it can feel so daunting. There is a lot going on around us that can easily distract our minds from being present in the here and now. It can be difficult to focus on what really needs our attention.
From the first time meditator to the seasoned practitioner, we all face the challenges related to simplicity. We can all use a little support to simplify, reorder, and focus the chatter of our minds. We invite you to join Heather Jones for a two-week series designed to provide this support.
This series will be offered live online Monday-Friday, 7:00-7:10 AM, MST. This will be an audio-only, (no video) offering. Participants will be muted during practice with an opportunity to unmute following the meditation in order to check-in, ask questions, or visit with the
group.
You can join from the privacy of wherever you are with whatever is showing up in your mind. You will be given gentle guidance away from the complications of the mind back to the simplicity of breath.
You will be able to join in or leave at any time during the meditation without disturbing anyone else participating. This is something that can easily be done lying down in bed and could potentially be a really nice way to wake up and mindfully begin the activities of the day.
