The Y12SR Leadership Training is an evidence-based certification program that will prepare and support you in becoming a leader in your community.

Join us for the Y12SR Leadership Certification program. Learn how to create and hold safe space for those impacted by addiction. Get the tools, knowledge, and support to offer Y12SR meetings in your community.

Yoga of 12 Step Recovery is a holistic model that addresses the physical, mental, and spiritual disease of addiction. Informed by the latest research in neuroscience and trauma healing, Y12SR connects the dots by combining the somatic approach of yoga with the cognitive approach of the 12 Step recovery model.

You do not need to be a certified yoga instructor to attend. This training is approved for 17 CE hours with NASW Utah and qualifies for CE hours with Yoga Alliance. Training fee is $375/$350 (if registered on/before August 27, 2019), NASW CE fee for mental health providers is $50.

This training is facilitated by Kyczy Hawk.

Kyczy is is a yoga teacher and author. She teaches in treatment centers as well as yoga studios in her hometown of San Jose, CA. Her volunteer time includes teaching yoga in Elmwood Women’s jail and The Recovery Cafe San Jose. She has been a space-holder for the internationally known Y12SR Program for over five years.

She has published several books, including “Yoga and the Twelve Step Path” (2012) and “Life in Bite-Sized Morsels” (2015). She is a contributor to national and international magazines: I Love Recovery Cafe, Yoga Times, 12 Step Gazette, OM Magazine, and Indigo International among others.

Kyczy is in long-term sobriety herself and has worked with countless others throughout her 30+ years of recovery
